Boquete Jazz Festival Feb. 15 — 17, 2008

Boquete is gearing up for its annual Jazz Festival this weekend, Feb. 15 – 17, 2008. The Festival kicks off on Friday night with Bamboo Sax, a blend of afro-Carribean, flamenco and jazz, followed by the Vitín Paz Jazz Quartet. Saturday evening will see the Carlos Campos trio with Luz Acosta, and later the Jonas Kullhammar Jazz Quartet – direct from Sweden. On Sunday afternoon at 11am in the Domingo Médica Park Gazebo, come hear the Gatma Group Orchestra, the Armuelles Quartet, Los Juglares, and the Slender Jazz Band.

Boquete se prepara para su gran FESTIVAL DE JAZZ este fin de semana, 15 a 17 de Febrero, 2008. El Festival se lanza la noche del viernes con Bamboo Sax, una mezcla de música afro-Caribeña, flamenco y jazz, seguido por el Cuarteto Vitín Paz. La noche del sábado se engalana con Carlos Campos y la voz de Luz Acosta, y luego el Jonas Kullhammar Jazz Quartet — directamente desde Suecia.
